These desktop stands from the M.I.C. Store give your iPad or iPad 2 a cool retro look.  The iStation looks like your choice of the wooden Apple I (faux wood grain) or the white plastic Apple II.  Each iStation has stereo speakers and a subwoofer that connect via Bluetooth or a 3.5mm cable, and they come with a Bluetooth keyboard that can be removed to take along for travel.  They have a USB port that can be used to charge the iPad, or you can insert a USB flash drive or microSD card and playback music directly from them.  You can even use the iStation dock with an iPhone.  Each iStation is $85.90.

The iStation is something I would buy in a hot second . . . until I found out that shipping is $45.00!!
