kogeto lens iphone 4The Kogeto Dot lens works with your iPhone 4 or 4S’s camera and their own free Looker app to capture 360-degree panoramic video.  The Dot uses Kogeto’s iCONIC lens and their “unique catadioptric optical system is fully AR-coated for excellent color fidelity in all environments.”  The Dot attaches to your camera with either a black, red, pink, or green mount.  The Dot is compatible with iPhone 4 and 4S.  It’s $79.00.

  2. Just got the GoPano micro and love it! I looked into both the Dot and GoPano and wanted to be able to see what I was recording. The Dot, while I really liked the look of it, has to be held horizontal so you can’t actually see what you record until after you recorded it. For me that would not work.
Anyways, cool technology and great for New Years parties :)!

  3. Hey Bob! It says at the Kogeto site that you can watch the video directly on your iPhone 4/4S, on Facebook, Twitter, or on Kogeto.com.

  4. Hey Janet! Just how does that work on Twitter :>)

    From their website:
“dotspots is the world’s first-ever panoramic video sharing platform. It’s where you can upload your Dot videos and manage your account.”

So it looks to me that you record with an App called Looker on yer iPhone. Then you upload them to DotSpots and link or embed to your video from there. (I think)
Janet are you going to test one out? Looks like fun 🙂
