  2. Not sure your lead sentence will be attractive to me – I am a librarian and know a lot of good-looking librarians. Don’t be surprised if this appears in American Libraries magazine in the section on how librarians are viewed by those who use stereotypes to sell products. And yes I have a sense of humor!

  3. There is a line of similar eyeglass holders from a company named La Loupe, made of leather, plastic, metal and jewelry-like stones and chains. They vary greatly in price. I have one made of leather with a hook and loop in silver. I use it every day for my reading and sunglasses. I much prefer it to those straps that hook onto the ends of eyeglass temples.
