Samsung Electronics Australia announced the local availability of its new range of powerful and stylish edge-lit LED monitors, the 3D capable SA 9 series, Smart Hub enabled TA9 Series as well as their CA5 Central Station Monitor.
The SA 9 is available in 23 and 27″ configurations, full HD with 3D playback from a wide variety of 3D content. The SA 9 series can also analyse and render 2D content into realtime 3D. The unit itself includes a built in glasses sync emitter.
The TA 9 is available in 27″ , with full HD with 3D playback and includes a built in Full HD digital tuner. The monitor is internet enabled and supports a number of social networking services and allows downloading of apps via the Samsung Apps store and supports DLNA enabled devices.
The CA 5 is available in 23″ and 27″ and easily connects a notebook to a range of compatible devices without multiple cables. Like a USB port replicator after initial setup you can connect LAN and audio cables to the station and the system is primed next time you connect. All you need to do is connect your Notebook using a single USB connection.
Personally I’m in two minds about the new “stylish” form factor. What are your thoughts ??
Ranging from $429AU to $799AU you can see them on the Samsung Australia Site
