The iPhone Desktop Handset

I’ve had a cellphone for more than 15 years, but I almost never used it until we got rid of our landline.  I still don’t use my cell phone very much – except for my weekly 3-4 hour call with my friend, Leah.  All those stories about radiation from cell phones mean more to me now than before, so I’ve been looking for a way to reduce my exposure.  Put your phone in the iPhone Desktop Handset from Hammacher Schlemmer and using the handset should reduce your exposure to phone radiation.  The anodized aluminum stand supports your phone at an angle so you can surf while you talk on the handset.  Using your own cable, you can charge the iPhone while it’s in the stand.  This stand is not just for iPhones, though; you can actually use it with any phone that has a 3.5mm headphone jack.  The iPhone Desktop Handset is $59.95.

@shsmani You’ll have to ask the manufacturer that question. We don’t sell or support products at The Gadgeteer. We just review them and report news items. This story was just a news item.
