I love Rush – the Canadian rock group, that is – and I was surprised to see that they have an app in the iTunes store. With Rush Time Machine, you can get news, tour itinerary and ticket information, and information about places to stay near concert venues. The Gear section lets you explore the equipment Rush uses while on tour, and the GeFilter lets you listen to Rush songs. There are old audio clips and never-seen-before content – there’s even a game and wallpaper. The Android version is $2.50. The iPad version is $4.99, and the iPhone/iPod touch version is $2.99.

Of course my Verizon Blackberry Storm 2 has no RUSH app…
I saw them in concert in Pittsburgh last year, awesome as ususal… I saw them in Philly in 1982 and England in 1986.
