New York Times Kindle Covers by Verso


These Verso covers for the latest version of the Amazon Kindle feature pictures from the archives of the New York Times.  The laminated covers have a soft suede-like interior to protect your Kindle.  Four elastic straps at the corners hold the Kindle in place.  Images include this picture of Liberty with the World Trade Center from 1983, the Flatiron Building circa 1917, and a view from River House (1931).  Each New York Times Kindle cover is $49.99 at Amazon.

    When I see pictures of the World Trade Center I always feel sad and angry at the same time. I would not buy this particular cover 🙁

    @Bob DeLoyd I know what you mean. I was working on some Christmas presents when I heard about the Towers and while I sat here and watched them both fall. I had to finish hand-sewing a bunch of gifts that year, but now I associate sewing with tragedy and crying. I haven’t sewn since 2001.

    @Janet I cried too; all those people. I hope that someday you can begin to sew again. Even now it’s hard to write about, it seems just like last week in my mind. I remember where I was and what I was doing. I think that most people feel the same.
