The Ansel Adams app for iPad features some of the photographer’s iconic black-and-white images of America.  There’s a slideshow of 40 images with optional audio narration or written commentary.  You can view the slideshow with the included musical soundtrack or with any music from your iTunes collection.  You’ll be able to see postcards Adams created and sent to his friends or make your own postcards to email to your friends.  You’ll be able to read letters written by Adams, watch videos about him, read the Playboy interview, see a bibliography, and link to websites about Adams.  This app is produced by the Ansel Adams Trust in collaboration with Hachette.  It’s $13.99 in the iTunes store.
