Flashpoint iBoard Apple Bluetooth Keyboard Kit

I can’t seem to find a lot of info about this iPad / iPhone keyboard kit, other than it’s a standard Apple Bluetooth keyboard that has special app stickers (or keycaps) for a variety of apps. Apparently you can use an app to program shortcuts into this keyboard so that you can easily use it to launch websites, and programs. The keyboard also comes with a silicone skin. I’m not sure which keycaps or stickers it ships with, but it’s available now for $59.99 from Adorama.

I have the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard without the app stickers and I love it. I travel extensively and that little keyboard is perfect for use in tight spaces on board airplanes. I use it with my iPad and my iPhone 4; it syncs seamlessly and easily. It’s a hardy little thing too as it’s been dropped half a hundred times. My one real complaint is that it turns on too easily in my briefcase and then, if I don’t notice, it drains it’s own battery and the battery on my iPad. As a result I have to pull the batteries when I know I won’t be pulling it out. Oh, and if you get one, don’t forget to pull it out and put it in the bin at the X-ray line because our TSA masters don’t like seeing it in the briefcase.

I have this keyboard, purchased it from Adorama a couple of months ago for $69.00. As far as the keyboard, it is the identical Apple-branded wireless BT keyboard. The only downside was that it did NOT come with any batteries (when you buy from the Apple Store, batteries are included). When you buy from Adorama, a silicone keyboard is included.
