grantwood store MacVelopeWhen Steve Jobs introduced the Macbook air in 2008, he pulled the air from a manilla envelope to emphasize just how small it was.  I remember there were some manilla-envelope style leather cases introduced for the air back then.  Grantwood Technology has two envelope-style cases to fit the two newest iterations of the Macbook air.  There are Macvelope cases sized to fit the 11″ air and the 13″ air.  These cases are made of manilla-envelope-colored vinyl with a black, ballistic nylon interior, so they are “animal friendly.”  They have the string closure you’d expect on an inter-office envelope, but they also have a Velcro strip under the flap for security.  Each case is $21.99, and the orders are fulfilled by Amazon, so they are eligible for free 2-day shipping if you are an Amazon Prime member.
