Okay, yes – I finally drank the Kool-aid and got a Macbook Pro.  Now I’m on the prowl for the perfect laptop bag.  The Kips Bay Bag for the 13″ Macbook Pro looks very promising.  This bag is from Cocoon, the same company that made the Grid-It Netbook case I reviewed for the iPad in May.  The Kips Bay bag has a molded EVA body to provide protection for the contents.  One side holds the Macbook Pro; two elastic straps hold the laptop in place.  The other side of the bag has a slip-in pouch for papers and a Grid-It organizer to hold cables, phones, and other small accessories firmly in place.  The bag is airport-friendly.  The normal price is $44.99, but Cocoon is currently offering it for $38.88.  It’s available in Black, Gun Gray, or Racing Red.
