The A-Line Bag from Speck is for women who prefer a more stylish bag for their netbook or iPad.  The fabric bag comes in gray with purple accents, brown with red, or black with gray.  The main section has two fleece lined pockets – one for your netbook, iPad, or ebook reader, and one for an iPod or phone with a pass-through for a headphone cable.  A front flap, with another storage pouch, buttons over the front of the body of the bag.  The integrated shoulder strap is lined with the accent color.  The A-Line Bag is new at Speck and should be available soon.  The bag will be $59.95.

Hmmm, I’m not sure I like the way the flap is designed…

I like the overall look of the bag, but I agree the flap is a little strange. I’d like it better if the button was just a decoration and there was a zipper around the bottom and side to keep the flap closed.

@I really prefer a flap that just hangs loose. Like the Waterfield Muzetto.

Would the netbook version hold a 11 in Macbook Air?

@Chel Apparently the 11″ Air might be a bit too tall to have the zipper close in this bag, but Speck does sell larger versions of this bag for the MacBooks. The 13″ MBP bag might be a bit too large, but you’d be able to zip up the compartment with the Air inside.
