The Wikihood app that you may know for iPhone has been updated for iPad. The iPad version contains extra information and makes best use of the iPad’s bigger screen. With Wikihood for iPad you can learn about your area – museums, historical sites, parks, recreation sites, things and places that other people find of most importance about the area. Wikihood will use your current location or you can specify a location. Use Wikihood to learn about your neighborhood or use it to plan your sight-seeing while on vacation. Wikihood for iPad is free. Wikihood Plus for iPad is also available, and it adds information in two additional categories – economy and geography. Wikihood Plus for iPad is $6.99.
