Hi James!

Thanks for your answer

So, i have good - and even better news for you.

The good news is that i went and bought it anyway (just today!), 'cause, well, me and my wife have a different work schedule, and we like to say hi! to each other even with that digital, cold, way :)

The even better news its that it actually works as a hard drive. I have a PC with Windows XP on it, and it shaw it right away as a external disc.

No drivers, downloads, anything: 100DSCIM folders, and video. Like a photo camera.

The videos are in AVI format, and a simple, 24'' take took 2,80ΜΒ.

So, give it a try! Maby if that 'hello' from your wife is that cute, you can save it for ever.

Good luck! :)

PS: I hope we have the same model. Mine has two different leds for battery and new message (red/green), but in every other way, is the same as yours. In the back, it says MODELNO: E24-0002VM

Hi Giannis,

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, the recorder does not act like a hard disk, so you are unable to remove any data from it. It simply records and plays the clips that you make.

We have it on our fridge at home and it's became very useful indeed. The battery typically lasts a few days, depending on the use it gets. The most we've had between charges is almost a week, and that's based on a few uses during the day.

I hope that helps.

Hi,

I've found your review pretty good - and im thinking to buy the video recorder.

I have just two questions: one, is it possible to transfer the videos in a computer (does it work as a hard disk) and two:how much time is the battery lasting?

Thanks for your time,
