Does your mouse need protection?

Protecting my mouse from scratches hasn’t been something that has ever occupied my mind, but the folks at Moshi think different… Their new MouseGuard product has been decided especially for Apple’s Magic Mouse, to protect its sleek surface from scuffs and scratches. In addition to protecting the surface of the Magic Mouse, it has also been designed to enhance the glossy touch surface so that your fingers don’t drag. The EZ-Glide protective film is easily installed and is available in either White or Silver for $15. The Silver does look pretty cool.

All these protectors remind me of my grandfather who had clear vinyl covers installed on his car seats to keep them like new. If you love Apple product design so much, why not enjoy it? Instead, people cover it up to “protect” it until they replace it with new hardware anyway.

@BJN
I was thinking the same thing:)
Take the $15 you’d spend/waste on this and donate it to your favorite charity; they need it more than your mouse ever will!
