Artamata has introduced their Artist’s Touch app for iPad.  With this app, you apply paper, canvas, or other textures to a photograph.  You then add color that looks like brush strokes, charcoal, watercolor, pencil, or other effects.  You don’t have to be an artist to produce a work of art with Artist’s Touch.  The app is available from iTunes for $4.99 for the iPad.  There’s also an iPhone/touch app for the same price.

That looks really nice! That may be the first app I have seen that really makes me want an iPad.
