The new Sound ID 510 Bluetooth headset performs like most headsets except for one unique feature – it can be controlled by an iPhone app. When using the Sound ID 510, an iPhone and the free EarPrint App, you can do sound preference tuning while on a call by moving your finger over the face of the iPhone. As you do so, the audio will change till you stop moving your finger. At that point your personal sound setting is automatically stored. The EarPrint app also offers a visual battery meter indicator for the headset and a Find My Headset feature that will cause the headset to beep so that you can find it. The Sound ID 510 will be available for $129.99 MSR at AT&T stores nationwide and at www.soundid.com starting June 6, 2010.

I heard this also works as an environmental sound amplifier too! Think like James Bond listening in on conversations in the park – I can’t wait to read a full review on this headset!
