sony qlaspThe Sony MDR-PQ4 Qlasp earbuds clip to your earlobe to keep them in place no matter how active you are.  The Qlasp in-ear buds weigh less than a third of an ounce, have a 3.9 ft cord, and a gold-plated L-shaped mini plug.  The 9 mm dome-shaped driver reproduces frequencies of 6-23,000 Hz.  They come in a variety of colors;  green is shown.  No, they don’t have any plain black ones.  The Qlasp earbuds are $24.99 from Sony.

    I agree that the Qlasp would probably hurt, but these things seemed to be marketed towards skateboarders. Based on the YouTube videos of some of the accidents they seem to have, skateboarders probably wouldn’t even notice the ear lobe pain! 😉

  3. The part that goes over your ear lobe is made of a soft, rubbery material. It does not pinch your ear. No pain involved folks.

  4. @Michael: Have you tried it? wear it for more than two hours? B’coz if the clip-type is already painful and annoying, how much more if it needs friction, right?
