Organize Your Cables with The Rail for iMac

newPCgadgets offers a simple, elegant way to control your iMac cables.  The Rail is made of steel with a polished nickle finish.  It attaches to the iMac’s pedestal, below the center hole.  Metal clips on each side of  The Rail can hold up to 4 cables each, and there’s room for the power cable in the center.  You can even wrap excess wires around the posts of  The Rail.  It’s $24.95 from newPCgadgets.

I ordered one of these as they look like a great idea. I paid via Paypal. After 5 days I sent the company an email and asked the status as I had received nothing from them. WIth still no response I emailed them again and stated that if I did not receive a response I would dispute the charge. Another day passed with no response so I disputed the charge. A day later I received a refund with no explination.

Personaly, I think it is a great idea, but until a more reliable company sells them, I won’t have one.

This could be a great combo when paired with Twelve South’s BackPack
