nooka asset.organizerHere at The Gadgeteer, we seem to pride ourselves on finding wallets that you might not find in your local brick ‘n’ mortar or from a casual Google.  The Nooka AO (Asset Organizer) is another in that category.   Features three vertical compartment slots to hold many of the items you might typically carry in your wallet or pocket.  And because it’s made from soft silicone rubber, it is expandable and water resistant.  A strap on the flap (a flapstrap, perhaps?) keeps it closed.  Available in 5 colors for $35 each.

  2. I actually love how this looks, but I absolutely hate the price.
Silicone isn’t this expensive, and I don’t think the uniqueness justifies the $35+$9 for FedEx.
My other gripe is that if any water gets -into- it, it’d be nearly impossible to get out, and you’d have to take everything out of the wallet and wash it out–I supposed at least it’d clean quickly and easily.
    Still loving the design.

  3. Nice review. I actually bought one about two weeks ago. It’s nice- and the previous comment is right- expensive. I ended up giving it to my son though. I was trying to use it as a wallet. It’s frustrating to try and jam bills in it. You have to fold them into thirds as folding them in half just won’t fit right. The rubber catches bills and makes it incredibly difficult to get money in and out. I’m still on a quest to find the perfect wallet. I’ve moved on to front pocket wallets and currently use a leather Bosca.

  4. what happened to that plastic box with clear inserts i read about some years ago? that seemed like the perfect system as it was adaptable to the need of the carrier.

  5. i was really disappointed with this wallet. the stickiness of the material is very minor and really not at all a problem. i was upset that mine lasted only about three weeks before the band tore. great idea, poor execution.
