One other nice feature is that the CiragoTV Mini can play DVD IFO files. I can rip my DVDs to my portable HDD and bring my whole library along with me. This was great when I went to Lake Tahoe with a bunch of kids last year. I had lots of movies to keep them occupied.

Jackie - I can't find support for Real files, maybe that's a difference in the firmware? I've got version 6461.R73.20090925

Mark - Thanks! I've been watching stuff on the TV with this nightly, it's been fantastic.

idyll - If you mean this unit will replace a PC connected to a project to playback movies or photos/music, yes - the display is sharp and converting PowerPoint slides to JPGs or a video would work!

This looks very similar to Western Digital's TV mini. I got that for my mom. The remote and even the menu system/layout is exactly the same. The WD one only supports USB drives. But it does support Real Media files which happens to be the most common file type for chinese tv shows.
