It works fine and I use it to keep paperwork out of the way in my den but was kind of disappointed that it seems to be vinyl. It may be leather but I'm 61 years old and have been using leather products since I can remember and I don't think it is. It isn't worth the hassle of returning it and then needing and buying another one so I'm going to let it go and be a bit wiser.
