The Disneyland of Fish Tanks

labyrinth_01For people who are confused as to whether they have a hamster or a goldfish, the aptly named online retailer Opulent Items has constructed the Labyrinth Fishtank to help address this growing problem.  They’ve designed a  community of six tanks connected by tunnels for fish to swim through.  Honestly I really can’t imagine my little Betta being too jazzed about the idea of six full rooms to choose from; he’s more than happy to nestle inside the little cave within his (single) bowl.

So this looks pretty nifty and you want one, right?   Be prepared to fork over $6,500.  That kinda puts the price tag of a biOrb in a new perspective.  The full package includes the table (which hides the less aesthetically pleasing filtration equipment and lights), acrylic tanks, plants, filters, pumps, cleaning tools, and the company will even help you install it.  The system is also available without the table for $1,000 less–making this option practically a bargain!

Wow, that looks pretty amazing. However, at that price I doubt it will be a big seller.

That tank looks sweet, I think it would be impossible to clean though, and it actually isn’t a biorb – the most expensive biorb is around $395 -
