Isn't $80 a little steep for a plastic face mask and color picture??

Lemme get this straight, all I need to scavenge one of these is:
1) A face mask with head cover ($14 from eBay)
2) A colorful picture I found off the net or made on a photo paint program ($0)
3) Printing that picture at a photo-lab as an 8x10 or 8x12 ($3 - $6)
4) The mental capacity to comprehend a feeding tube ($0 I'm smart)
5) Drilling a hole in the plastic mask ($0 since I already owned the drill)
6) Plastic reservoir made from empty 2 oz energy drink container ($3 only after refilled with approved hummingbird liquid)
7) Tube to hole attachments for mask & reservoir ($4 [max] hardware store items)
8) Clear packing tape to hold the reservoir and tube ($0 I have it already, $3 max if bought)

Total damage to my budget: $24

Buying it all in bulk from resellers would probably cost around $10 per completed mask

Wow, that does look like the mask from Halloween. Has anyone actually tried this thing? It's an interesting idea. I thought they had everything for hummingbird enthusiasts on www.birdfeeders.com but this may be one item they don't carry!

1) All you need is a chainsaw and, instant Halloween outfit ! 2) If your loved one came up and saw the birds feeding from your eyes, they'd die cold dead.
