In silver, no less. If it's painted, I can't tell. The material, feel, strength, texture is almost identical to the iMac curved "foot"/base, or the current model flat keyboards. Very, very strong. I can push on it really hard and it'll BARELY flex. I liked it so much I bought two. One for home, one for work. My only complaint?
