Clickiness is really a pro rather than a con for most people. It's generally a sign of a keyboard built in the proper IBM way, where it'll outlast 3 or 4 computers.

I tried the Adesso WKB-4000UB with touchpad instead of trackball. http://www.adesso.com/products_detail.asp?productid=391
Was disappointed no multimedia keys like volume, play/pause, stop, previous and next track.

@Tony: I agree. These keyboards are all pretty overpriced. You can find wireless keyboard/trackball combos on sites like Brando and DealExtreme (Which Karel mentioned) for cheaper, but even at $45 it seems like a bit much for something with such basic functionality.

@Andrew: I was *very* happy with the trackball's sensitivity and tracking. I haven't tried tweaking the settings in the Windows Mouse control panel, but even with the default settings, the trackball is really easy to use. Have you tried tweaking any of those settings?

I bought a different Adesso all-in-one wireless keyboard with trackball: http://www.adesso.com/products_detail.asp?productid=336

The main problem with it is that the mouse motion is HORRIBLE. For some reason, its motion is very jerky and unpredictable, making it just super frustrating to use. I end up spending 5-10 seconds jockeying the cursor around whenever I need to click anything, and trying to copy and paste is just a joke.

How good is the trackball on this particular model?

Brando sells this ( http://usb.brando.com/prod_detail.php?prod_id=00678 ) keyboard for a lot less. Then again, it's Brando, so who knows what you'll get...

The looks and function/design of this KB are really nice, however, I don't care for the price at all. In my opinion, these are woth maybe $40.

The Logitech diNovo Edge is another one to consider. it's a bit more expensive and bigger, but it's Bluetooth (i.e. no dongle for most machines) and has built-in rechargeable batteries with excellent battery life. It also is pretty stylish (IMO), has a vertical charging stand (so it doesn't take up much room when not in use) and fits in with living room decor. I've had both the Mac and PC versions and they were both good. I do have a couple complaints though:

The "piano black" shiny is pretty, but it smudges waaay too easily. There is only one mouse button for the left hand, and it doesn't feel tough enough. It's not multitouch. The standard version doesn't have good support for Mac (it works OK, but the drivers don't support the touch or media controls), and forced me to rebuy basically the same keyboard to get everything working.

Lenovo also recently came out with a "keypad on the right side, extra mouse buttons on the left" keyboard that I saw in the local computer store, but I can't find a picture online.
