		<description>i have the kiwi wifi and iphone. works great on the works veichles but not at all on my uk spec subaru impreza turbo. so i&#039;m now gonna upgrade my car and get a newer one (2005 ish on). just trying to find some software that will talk to the ecu via the kiwi to remap the car, dont know if there is any out there yet but i see no reason it shouldnt work</description>

		<description>I suppose you could wire it up to the remote switch for the car stereo.. so it&#039;d only be powered on when the car is on or the ignition is in the accessory position.. although I don&#039;t know how the device is wired up.. the switch could be for something else.</description>

I&#039;m intrigued by this model (wifi to iPhone) but... There&#039;s a switch on the transmitter that you must turn on to power it up.  Reason?  Plugged in and left on it&#039;s own, it draws power from the battery via OBD port.  Yes it&#039;s a little current but still.
