timbuk2-breakout

On the heels of the itsy-bitsy T-Pack for netbooks comes Timbuk2‘s new Breakout Messenger, a generously-sized bag designed for your hulking 17″ laptop.  A cross between their Outtawhack Daypack and the Commute Messenger, this seems to be an answer to the critique that even the Large Commute was just not quite large enough for a 17″ laptop (other than a MacBook Pro).  This bag’s twist is that it can be carried over your shoulder like a corporate bag, or break out its molded foam “zip away” shoulder strap to sling it in more traditional messenger style.  A front storage pocket for organizing your smaller stuff, and a larger compartment for…well, your bigger stuff.  Made of durable ballistic nylon and available in 3 color schemes for $120.  Ironic that per Timbuk2 this monster is sized as a “Medium”!
