sog-electrical-knifeThis knife from SOG Group (Special Operations Group) offers three wire stripping features from fine multi strand all the way up to cable. There is a stripper bar for wire sizes of 12-24, an adjustable spring-loaded UTP/wire stripper in the back, and hole stripper that uses the main blade. You can get one from Garrett Wade for $59.95.

RJ plugs?
It’s for sparkies not data comms!!
I would personally love one but it seems a lil pricey, I still have my first electricians knife, bought from a local wholesalers. Still razor sharp but it can also saw, has screwdriver arms, and is a fair weight so you can hammer a few nails home!
Everyone at work wants one but I won’t tell them where I got it!
:)
It’s great for an Aerial Installer the only thing it doesn’t have is a spanner!!!

This looks nice it could be useful. If you want to hear something funny, I’ve heard of companies that don’t allow their electricians to carry knives on the job anymore. How crazy is that!

Hey Mike:

That is crazy!! Maybe the way things are going today, it might be wise for those companies to relax their knife-carrying policies a bit.
