I am using this device for a long time, it is working great.
I also had installtion problem, called their great support to realize that it was all my mistake. The product has a USB connection to the computer, I just plugged it in with the power ignoring the warning that first I need to install the software CD. I reversed the process with their kind support and everything started to work perfectly. Great idea and useful product.

I bought one of these because it sounded really interesting. So far, I have not been able to get it to work as anything but a keyboard. The setup is a pain and the thing doesn't calibrate. I am bringing it back to the store.

I had a scanning board in use for all of my receipts for about 3 years... just black and white. It finally died (the scanner part-not the keyboard) about 3 months ago and I'm just getting around to replacing it. This looks like the one I'll purchase since I really miss the ease of use and the convenience of having all of my receipts, bills, and important documents scanned into my computer. Talk about going GREEN! It eliminates so much clutter in the office and I know exactly where to find everything. I use it to cross-check credit purchases with statements and also do my taxes every year. As soon as I get this one set-up, I'll be back with a post on how it is working.

Ok. I just got ours yesterday. Things are not looking good so far though. Their TS is working on why it refuses to calibrate. I'll post more when your reviewer posts theirs.

@edventure Thanks for the offer to review this product. I'm actually getting one for one of the gadgeteer crew to review. We look forward to hearing about your own experience with it. Maybe you can add your comments once the review is posted.

I just ordered one to test. If they work well I'll put them in all our leasing offices to scan/send invoices to corporate for approval. I can write up a little review for the site if you want.

I'm too lazy to get up from my seat to reach the scanner.
How about a MFP-keyboard ?

I go through at least one keyboard a year, so this idea has little merit for me.

Combo gadgets are always dicey that way. If one part breaks, even the least-expensive part, you're out of luck.
