steel-velcroThere’s a new version of Velcro in town and it’s called Metaklett. German engineers have taken the familiar nylon hook and loop fastening system and re-created it in steel. This new material can support both extreme weights and temperatures and may soon be used for building facades and car assemblies. Just like regular Velcro, this steel version doesn’t require special tools and can be reused.
