Actually, I've bought the presenter mouse 8000 and think the design is good and bad.

It is indeed compact design, but it need to install specific driver, and do not follow general protocol to achieve plug and play (maybe they intentionally did it so that others can only use specific software.) When I press run button on the back, windows media player just pop up.

I've been using this mouse for about 18 months and have been quite happy with it - it connects to my D630 via Bluetooth, so I don't need to use the dongle, and of course the presentation features mean one less thing in my bag.

I wish it didn't require the MS software for the presentation capabilities. I prefer the Targus devices for that reason.

I also like the case, it keeps things together and has taken a fair beating.

I have very large hands and am able to use it no problem.
