Same here - and for a device that's advertised as compatible with "iPhone (all generations)" and priced at the premium end, it's a bit rich when the phone reports otherwise. Why is it so hard to create a glorified plug adapter?

I ordered this as soon as I read the article. I've been looking for a way to charge and get line-out in my vehicle.

While this does seem to work it is a bummer that I get the "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone" message.

If I tell it not to go into airplane mode it does seem to charge. Still a bummer tho. I might have waited a bit longer if I'd known...
