Chrome has been manufacturing premium messenger bags like the Citizen messenger bag for the last 14 years. Now they are branching out with a line of shoes. Their new Red Sole line of sneakers have a classic design, but are built with bikers in mind. They are made of Cordura and feature a Texon board in the forefoot to prevent pedal poke, a glass filled nylon shank to stiffen the mid sole, increasing pedal stroke leverage and a 55A durometer outsole for better pedal grip. I’m not a biker, but I still want a pair, just to see if they are more comfy than my Chuck Taylors

Chrome messenger bags have great style–I’ve always wanted to try one out. And it looks like they’ve carried their trademark style into these kicks, too. I like ‘em.
I carry a Chrome mini-metro messenger bag every day – I have for 3 years; these look nice? But lately I’m partial to slip-on Puma shoes for laziness. Also – these will probably be really expensive.
