Chrome has been manufacturing premium messenger bags like the Citizen messenger bag for the last 14 years.  Now they are branching out with a line of shoes. Their new Red Sole line of sneakers have a classic design, but are built with bikers in mind.  They are made of Cordura and feature a Texon board in the forefoot to prevent pedal poke, a glass filled nylon shank to stiffen the mid sole, increasing pedal stroke leverage and a 55A durometer outsole for better pedal grip. I’m not a biker, but I still want a pair, just to see if they are more comfy than my Chuck Taylors :)

Chrome messenger bags have great style–I’ve always wanted to try one out. And it looks like they’ve carried their trademark style into these kicks, too. I like ‘em.

I carry a Chrome mini-metro messenger bag every day – I have for 3 years; these look nice? But lately I’m partial to slip-on Puma shoes for laziness. Also – these will probably be really expensive.
