arm-massagerThis device from Hammacher Schlemmer looks more like a something from the Spanish Inquisition than a product designed to relieve forearm pain. It replicates the Swedish arm massage technique to soothe the inflamed, stiff extensor and flexor muscles that cause forearm pain. Simply place your arm between the compression spring-loaded rollers, turn the dial to your preferred level of tension, and slide your arm back and forth through the cushioned rollers. It’s going to cost you about $50, which might be more painful than your forearm pain πŸ˜‰

  2. I can see it now–“Seen that torture device on the boss’s desk? *That’s* what’s waiting for you if you don’t step up your performance!”

And then someone takes the joke too seriously and files a lawsuit…

  3. I think this would be awesome if it LOOKED like a torture device, but still had the same soothing function. πŸ™‚ Make it out of metal with wires, springs, etc and add some blood splatter.

Of course, when you place your hand in it it would activate a speaker that says (in the Jigsaw voice from Saw) “Hello, I want to play a game”. πŸ™‚

  4. And if we did make a good version of it people wouldn’t even think twice of dropping $1000 on it. πŸ™‚ If only I had any ability to actually make things. πŸ™‚
