Yes, I’d have to agree with John. Rick Hinderer Knives makes about the best tactical pen out there, especially their titanium pens.

If travelling, be alert that kubotan and similar weapons are specifically mentioned in the TSA prohibited items list as not allowable for carry-on. It might get through (“Hey, I just like a heavy pen”) but you wouldn’t want to have to toss your $120 pen in the trash if it doesn’t. Put it in your checked luggage before getting to security.
