		<description>I&#039;ve always understood that it is a bad idea to put a mobile phone in close proximity to credit cards, as there is a risk of the card&#039;s data being scrambled.  This may have originated in the days before chipped cards, though, when a magnetic strip held the data.  Anyone know if this is still a concern with today&#039;s cards?</description>
