It is based in Austin, Texas and the owner came here from France, despite the German name. :) The keyboard have been manufactured by various companies in various countries. After going through a half dozen other "durable" keyboards, I came across this one a couple of years ago..... and am still on my original one! Can't recommend these enough, especially for those that favor mechanical keyboards (bonus: this one's not as loud as some!). Julie, you know I beat up a keyboard…..
