It has nine UV LEDs and runs on 3 AAAs. I bought it to hunt for tomato hornworms in my garden (supposedly they fluoresce too, but I haven't had any yet...) It throws way more light than a Photon, but it won't fit on a keychain. It works really well - I go out at night and find pieces of gravel that glow yellow an purple all the time. It also charges up anything glow-in-the-dark in about 10 seconds. I bought one of these:
