Capture all those special moments with your flowers

gardenwatch_camHere’s a gadget for all of the wacky garden people out there. You know who you are. You have flowers planted in containers all over your front porch in the summer and house plants all over your living room in the winter. Now you can obsess even more (if that is possible…) with the 1.3MP Gardenwatch Cam from ThinkGeek. This gizmo takes timelapse photos of your babies growing and blooming. It runs on 4 AA batteries that can last up to 6 months. There are 6 different time settings including from 1 minute to 24 hrs and then one custom setting. The price is kinda spendy at $139.99, but if this will help you remember what your carnations looked like at 2 days old, it’s worth it. Right?

What a nice idea… maybe I’ll get one for the wife. How romantic :-)

What I’d really like, though, is a cheap weatherproof cam that has motion sensing, so I can see what it was that ate the tops of all the carrots. Also good to capture pics / video of birds at the feeders. Anyone know if there’s anything like this on the market?
