I must admit, I don't use up copious amounts of data on my USB sticks, probably less than 10Gb to be honest. Most of my data is held on a couple of 1TB external drives, but I think if you're travelling and need a lightweight method of carrying lots of data, this is definitely the best way! :) The price kinda puts me off a little though!
