@Lauren I also have a Mac, but had no problems dragging and dropping the video files from the Flip's mounted drive. Don't use the lame application that comes with the camera.

I love the Flip Mino! My only problem is that I have had trouble exporting the video's to my mac to put them in an IMovie. Any suggestions? I love to take short videos and put them on our family blog or on facebook. Great little gadget!!

Its a great bit of kit. To date we have shot 4 viral pitches on them. For the cost you just cant fault it. It does allot stuff that HD kit costing 1K upwards can. and its perfect for the viral feel.

here's a link to one them. both backing plates were taken as stills, the puppet shot against Reflecta media with the IR ring held in front

I love my MinoHD. Even though it's not very forgiving when your hand shakes, it does record a beautiful picture. Here's a link to a video of some ducks I took with the MinoHD to demonstrate.

@Bryan I don't know of a limit to recording size. The 'manual' that comes with the minoHD is just a folded up piece of paper :)

@Hai The mino's screen is small, but even with my close to needing bifocal eyes, it works fine for me. That said, I'd always welcome something larger. What do you think of teh Zi6?

I would love to compare this head to head with the Sony Webbie. I went for that b/c of the form factor (larger LCD) and removable memory. Since I had some Memory Sticks lying around, that wasn't an issue.

Do you know if there is any limit in recording time per session? I know it can only record 60 minutes, but can that be the same session. Hidden away in the manual of the Webbie is the limit of about 25 minutes before it must stop recording.

Julie,
Before the minoHD came out, I purchased the Kodak Zi6 because it has HD and large LCD (2.4 inch). Is the minoHD screen too tiny?

@Jackie I'm anxious to see if the UltraHD addresses any of the problems that I had with the minoHD.

Yea I got the minoHD also. Works great for quick video shots. It would be nice if they put in a SDHC slot in it for expandability.
