Julie:

Looks good, but my experience with some holsters of this type is that they are so tightly strapped to my belt that they dig into my side when I sit down. This bay not be the case with the clip on this one. But I would want to test that before purchasing one.

The durability and anticipated life of the clip would also be a consideration. Would I wear it out with normal use in a year or less?

On the other hand, this holster offers the prospect of being able to talk and read and write email all day long when away from the office. It would be a real benefit to not be tethered to my car charger during waiting time and lunch time while out for the day.

Hi,

my first impression: Wow! What a huge case for so little extra time!
Why should I put a sleek iPhone into such a monster on my belt?

Some research on the CaseMate website however revealed that the extra time promised is way above what is cited in your snippet:

Talk time: up to 9 additional hours beyond standard iPhone 3G battery life
Internet use: up to 7 hours ...
Video playback: up to 8 ...
Audio playback: up to 24 ...
Stand by time: up to 250 additional hours ...

Now, that's worth a second throught ...

Cheers from Switzerland, Uli
