It works great for me and my wife. We both have Incase Slider cases on our iPhone 3Gs and they fit in the charger without removing the bottom piece as long as you don't put the insert in the dock. There are cases that have a removable portion at the bottom to allow docking, however. I have two in the pipeline for future reviews. But even the thinnest silicone skin was too much for my 3G. @Ryan - who knows - if Apple gets the rumored Verizon "iPhone lite" out this summer, you may become a convert! ;-) But that would probably be a good product - one side has all the BB inserts, the other all the iPod ones.
