I've been using this nice app since version 2.2 to the latest version 3.2 on my Nokia N95 and now on Nokia N97 and yes you can upgrade the phone's firware without losing the data all what is required is you need to perform a Backup via Nokia PC Suite before upgrading and later Restore the app along with the data. Cheers!!

Conn. It does not have a back up to save data. When you upgrade firmware on phone you loose all data. Also no intergration with PC application to make input easier and then transfer info to Phone.
