NICE!

In the movie, I wonder if Joe will trash Barbie's Dream House and steal her Corvette like my GI Joe did to my sister's Barbie?

Man, what a whippin' she put on me that time!

EA has earned a reputation in recent years for churning out titles that are buggy, lacking any useful support after release & generally miserable. The preview movies on this one look rushed & lacking any decent replay value. Oh wait, you can't even play as COBRA in multiplayer action?? It's just a poorly thought out tie-in to yet another big budget movie, attempting to cash in on memories from my childhood I'm afraid.

@ ZZamboni, WOW. I totally forgot about that, that is AWESOME! Nice find!

BTW, I just noticed from the picture above, that my Joe looks just like Billy Mays! Now, where's my Mighty Putty?

As a teen I spent countless hours playing G.I. Joe on my Commodore 64. The music was awesome, and the playing was quite enjoyable, particularly in two-palyer mode. This really brings back memories:

I wanted a GI Joe when I was a kid, but I had to settle for a Ken (Barbie) doll instead. :) I begged my mom to sew him an army uniform, which she did. She also made him a cot that could roll up and be turned into a stretcher by inserting dowel rods in the sides. Whenever my sister wanted me to play Barbie's with her, it was always on my terms, which meant they had to go camping or my army man Ken doll had to rescue Barbie from bad guys. Good times :)
