flexring

The FlexRing 6400 from SR Electronics is a ring flash with 64 oversized (32 in the ring and two flexible arms with 16 each) super-bright white LEDs. The bendable arms allow you to position the light where you need it. I would love one of these for my macro shots, but the price is $359.95, which is a little too spendy for me.

What’s a pforessional photographer? :-)

I think this would work for anybody provided you had the funds and the inclination to shoot macro. Like I do. I can see many other uses for it as well. Since you can vary power and and turn off sections it seems it would have great use in various arenas

These things are always SO expensive! I’ve seen some DIY versions around though, probably not as customizable but way more affordable.
