Especially if they offered fun 'color/flavor' mixes. Getting a 6 pack would mean I could toss them out when they got too gross to clean any more. Perhaps if you have a hand free you don't notice, but earbuds fall out of your ears. When I walk two big dogs, it can be a problem to constantly replace them. Also, I'd rather clean an detachable ear piece than the earbud itself.
