In fact, the M8s arrived in the post less than an hour ago. I'm listening to them right now. They're definitely much fuller in the bass than the er-6is, but I'm not sure if they're superior across the rest of the spectrum. It's early days, but I'm missing the wonderful clarity of the Eties quite a bit. Having said that, things might improve after a decent burn-in of 50 hours or so.
