nio Bluetooth tags can link to an existing Bluetooth enabled mobile phone or PDAs to establish a 20 meter security zone for the tagged item. If the security zone is breached, both the tag and your mobile phone emit an audible alarm, which alerts you to the potential loss or theft of your article.

  2. I’ve found the tag’s battery usually lasts for around a couple of weeks before the battery level indicator on your phone software shows it need topping up. The tag has a standard USB charger socket. As I’m running the software on my Blackberry I just use the same charger.

    Found a company that sells solar powered laptop bags with a USB charger so that would be perfect for keeping a nio charged although having had a nio for a few months now you soon get into the routine of charging it as you would with your mobile.
